Sa Pinas pala hindi na uso yung mga branded names when it comes to t-shirts. Napanood ko nga sa internet, even Francis M. has his own clothing line. Actually dito lang sa multiply sites dami na nagbebenta eh. Anyway, I was chatting with my sister when she asked me kung anong size ko kase she will buy me this kind of t-shirt.

Isn't nice... Proud to be a Paulinian! Warm and Simple ata 'to ... hahahaa. Oooppsss ang skirt 2 inches below the knee cap... patay kay sister pag sobra or kulang sa 2 inches... guidance kagad... hahhaa... Actually madaming schools and hobbies yung mga designs nya. Cake decorating

I found a new hobby... cake decorating . I love watching Ace of cakes in food network, love magazines about cakes, love books how to bake a cake but not eating a cake. Weird pero true, di ako mahilig sa cake unless its a chocolate flavor and pili pa. I like making some deserts pero I don't have a sweet tooth. Di ko rin tinitikman while making one, after na lang, basta tanchahan na lang kung sa tingin ko sweet na. Anyway, back to my new hobby. I wanna try making cupcakes. Why cupcakes? Kase small size lang, di man masarap di nakakahinayang.. hehehe... and as a beginner, sa maliit muna. Besides, I love cupcakes specially when its decorated.

That's why this was my wedding cake instead of a traditional one.

And instead of cake cutting, cake biting.. mas sweet di ba.. hehehe. Well aside from that, everybody will enjoy it.. yun nga lang kinulang.

So I went to hobby lobby to buy things that I need. Muffin pan, pastry bag, icing tips, spatula, paper cups, coupler. I already have my recipe, the cake and the frosting. The result... tada!

Eto ang palpak. Nilagay ko kagad ung frosting.. excited ako eh... eh mainit pa ung cupcake, ayan natunaw..

Pero sympre, ginawan ko ng paraan...

The taste? Hindi ko pa alam... tagal kumain nung tester ko eh... pero sabi nya parang pro daw.. hanep... and since it looks good daw, for sure pati lasa... naxxx pakiss nga jan.. nyahaha

And by the way, I already bought him a gift.. at buti na lang kasama ko sya kase dapat brown leather ung bibilhin ko, but he likes black. Ayan may gift na ko.. hehehe..

I touch it

Last night, pagdating ko sa bahay from work, I saw this paper on top of our dinner table. Huwatttt... ano ito? Ayan may surprise sken ang aking mahal na esposo. Sa likod pla nyang paper don nakatago ung gift. Actually wala tlga akong idea pero naisip ko ung blackberry curve phone. Kase sabi nya sken yun ang gift nya sken this year kaya lang he needs to wait after 7 months kase matatapos na ung contract nmen sa T-mobile, mas makakamura sya. Hindi na nga daw surprise yun kase sinabi nya sken.

When I grabbed the paper, ito ang bumulaga sken... si John Lennon! Sympre ang tanga ko naman kase di ko talaga mahulaan kung ano.

Until nakita ko 'tong side na 'to....

Actually ako dapat ang bibili nito for myself. Kase last weekend when we dropped by sa Bestbuy, mega pindot pindot ako nito sa display nila. Basta nagpapaka-ignorante talaga ako sa pagpipindot. Nangangati na ang kamay ko na bumili, pero inhale and exhale lang ako sabay layas sa store. Dinedemonyo nga ako ni Nikky na bilin ko. Nasa tamang pag-iisip ako non eh, kaya di ko binili.

Talagang na surprise ako, to think sa December pa ang birthday ko. Hello to earth naman si Nikky at sobrang advance ha. Sabi ko pa nga, pano yan wala na kong bubuksan na birthday/christmas gift sa pasko. Balutin daw nya tapos, tatago nya. Lalabas na lang daw nya pag-christmas na. Ano ba! Pero sabi nya, don't worry iba pa rin yung christmas gift... yipee!!! Hala! Bigla naman akong napressure kase birthday ni Nikky next month. At tama ba naman na until now di pa rin ako decided kung ano ibibigay sa kanya. Nakrung krung naman ako ng bonggang bongga. Meron pa kong 2 weeks para mag-esep esep

Feeling ko bumalik ako ng 4th year highschool... hehehe... parang kahapon lang noh... nyahaha!

Grabe its more than a decade, ngyon ulit ako nagpagupit ng maikli... cool ... ayan, matipid sa shampoo and conditioner, wala na yung mga pang-asar na loose hair sa bed and especially sa shower na sobrang nakakabadtrip... Pero ang nakakainis, napatagal naman ang pag-aayos ko kase unlike pag long hair, pag wala ng time pwede kong itali, but now dapat may alloted time ako to do my hair, para walang fly away at the same time di naman sya ganon ka flat, so kailangan may I blower ako and put some mousse to add volume... pero sympre namiss ko naman ang ganitong hairdo kaya excited pa kong mag-ayos... im not sure kung ganito pa rin ang gagawin ko in the next few months...

Happy Heart's Day

We have no plans to go on a date tonight kaya I decided to cook pasta (fettucine ala ewan) nyahaha.. basta white sauce with shrimp and mushroom yun na yun. Actually ginaya ko lang yun sa isang fine dining resto dito. So far e magkalasa naman sila konting salt lang ang difference... bwahahaha. Anyway, instead na dinner namen un eh naging lunch na sya. It's my off today but Nikky was not feeling well to go to work...not feeling well meaning tinatamad not feeling sick... eh nag-off na lang sya. I told him if he stayed at home, maglinis sya ng bahay , sa awa nman ng dyos eh ung stock room lang ung nilinis nya.. pwede na, well appreciated na rin. At dahil ayaw naman nmen tumunganga buong maghapon, punta kme ng Bestbuy.. the place to be.. hehehe. I bought a computer desk na ilang linggo ko na rin pinag-iisipan. Mahal kase yung mga furnitures dito, so buti na lang eh sale kaya grab ko na. Bumili na rin ako ng desk organizer, as usual sale sa Hobby Lobby naman ito. Love this store, puro kase craft materials at kung anong mga pang-DIY. Balik kgad kme kase super dooper lamig... may hangin kase. Anyway, here's the pic na isang karagdagan na naman sa credit card ko... ibang klase!!!!!

Yung chair kay Nikky yan.. borrow muna for the sake of picture.. hehehe. So kailangan kong bumili ng akin... For me, while wala pa kmeng baby, bilin na namen ung mga gusto namen besides di naman kaprichuhan 'to and sympre pa we know our limits when it comes to buying things. By the way baka mapansin nyo ung baby sa picture frame, niece yan ni Nikky, nagpapanggap kmeng mga magulang... hahaha.

Chicken Ala King

I tried cooking Chicken Ala King. This is what I missed in Greenwich. Everytime I visit Greenwich Pizza, hindi pizza ang inoorder ko, its their chicken ala king top with quickmelt cheese. Infairness, I like also their pizzas but im not really a pizza lover, unless a pizza from 3M or lotsa pizza. Yung tipong dumidikit tlga ung cheese sa ngalangala mo. hahhaa. I can eat more than 3 slices of that. Unlike pizza hut, shakeys, sbarro or yellow cab hanggang 2 slices lang ako.. at kailangan gutom ako non.

Since first ko lutuin 'to, sana lang eh magustuhan ni Nikky... I believe he haven't eaten like this before. For the ingredients and procedure:

• Simmer boneless chicken, season with some salt, and drain. Let it cool and chop into cubes.
• Melt some butter and add onions, carrots, frozen peas and mushrooms. Do not overcooked. Remove from the pan.
• Using the same pan, melt some butter, add flour. Whisk very well to prevent any lumps. Add milk, cream and chicken broth. You can use chicken cubes. Let it simmer.
• Add the rest of the ingredients, salt and pepper to taste.

And the finish product... tadaaaa... Perfect! By the way, Im not into measuring thing, coz I know we have different taste buds. Tanchahan na lang oki.

Dental check-up

The last time I had my dental check-up was last year before I left Pinas. My tita who's a dentist was the one taking care of my teeth. I still have another dentist, for emergency purposes. She's a medicard accredited. Sayang naman yung contribution ko kung di ko gagamitin yun. Today, I saw a dentist because of toothache. Im not sure kung may butas yung ipin ko kase very seldom lang naman kung sumakit. Since Im a new patient, they had me a dental x-ray. First time ko lang gawin yun. Di naman masakit, pero kangawit kase nganga ka ng nganga. Mabait naman yung new dentist ko. He explains to me kung ano ang mga nakita nya sa aking pearly whitey teeth... hehehe. Meron nga lang syang speech defect kaya di ko masyadong maintindihan. So akala ko 4 tooth ang bubunutin sken yun pla 2 lang. Ang masaklap eh may cavity na yung 2 molar tooth ko sa upper. Waaaaaa..... complete pa naman yung teeth ko don... I don't need naman daw yun. At yung sinasabi kong masakit, its not the tooth itself, its the gum. At no problem naman don kase wala naman syang makitang cavity. So he gave me toothpaste for sensitivity. Use it after brushing my teeth at night tapos konti lang and put it sa affected gums. So its payment time, wow... they charged me $242.00. Ayos! Buti na lang may dental insurance ako, so mairereimburse naman. I'll be on February for the extraction and di ko alam kung ano yung isa. Basta 2 appointments ko sa kanya this February. And they handed me the estimated cost for the operation... hehehe operation eh. Ay sus tumataginting na $1K+... di pa sure kung tataas or baba since estimated pa lang. Again, buti na lang Im Nikky's dependent sa kanyang insurance. Babayaran ko muna from my own pocket then saka ko marereimburse. Ok na rin kesa naman magdusa ako sa sakit in the future.

Despite of frigid weather, we still went out and watched Cloverfield. When I watched the preview, I was curious about this movie. But to my dismay, I didn't like it. It was like blair witch project. The whole scenes was caught in an amateur video. Kaya super nakakahilo panoorin. May comedy part nman since yung nakuha ng video was funny. Its about a giant monster like Godzilla, na di naman alam kung san nanggaling. Bigla na lang sumulpot. Ang ending namatay yung mga bida na di man lang pinakita kung ano ung monster na yun.
