Its my day off today....kaya solo ko ang pc! Sinipag ako maging lurker sa friendster. Little did I know that I've been inviting my old (old = aged) friends to be in my friends list. Siguro mga 20+ ung nasa request ko. I was really wow when I saw some of them that I couldn't imagine what they are now, especially my grade school schoolmates. Before mukhang mga inosente, but now... walang di alam.. hehehe. It really feels good that somehow I can see them via friendster after the past 2 decades! And some of them were connected to my friends. Well I just hope they'll recognized me and accept my invites. Di naman ako cguro ako mukhang nagbago.. gumanda lang ng slight.. nyahaha!

Rockin' Girl Blogger

I just found out that Thet nominated me as one of the Rockin' Girl Blogger. Thanks girl! You rock! hehehe.. Little did I know that I made an impact to her life... or should i say love life.

I started to make a blog just for my before and after the wedding blurbs. Since the 1st blog was more of the two of us (hubby and I), I've decided to make a new separate blog for myself only. Then another one for my digiscrapping masterpieces. Maybe I'll make another one for being a mom in the future.... di naman ako sugapa sa blog noh?

Now, it's my turn to nominate for a Rockin' Girl Blogger. Hey Thet, your an exception kase nominated ka na eh.. but I love reading her everyday thoughts... very entertaining... hahaha...

Pinoy vs. Kano

Purong tagalog ang gagamitin ko kase mahirap na, may mga bisita ako mula sa kalawakan.

Sa aking 3 buwan na papamalagi dito (kung nasan man ako), marami na rin akong nakita na kaibahan ng Pinoy sa mga banyaga. Hindi man ganon kalalim, di rin naman ganon kababaw... kuha mo? tae (shit) nakakagago ung pinagsasabi ko...

Paalala: Ito ay base lamang sa aking obserbasyon.

* Masipag ang Pinoy, dahil sa kanilang sipag at tyaga, karamihan sa kanila ay nasa iba'-ibang parte na ng mundo.

* Halos lahat ng Pinoy ay nagsusumikap makapagtapos ng pag-aaral para makakuha ng magandang trabaho. Dito, khet high school graduate ay pwede na.

* Mas malinis at maayos magsulat ang mga Pinoy. Isama mo na ang spelling.

* Pagdating sa trabaho, maganda ang training ng Pinoy. Binibigyan talaga ng panahon.

* Pag break time, parang wala lang. May kanya-kanyang mundo... tahimik pa rin. Di katulad sa Pilipinas, pag break time.. riot! Chika dito, chika doon.

* Di marunong mag-alok. Madamot?? ewan ko lang. Di tulad ng pinoy khet kinagatan na e aalukin ka pa rin.

* Bawal dito ang discrimination (lahi, edad, kasarian, may kapansanan). Nasa batas nila yon. Sa Pilipinas, wala lang... paki ko.. lait kung lait!

Wala naman akong reklamo sa kung ano pa man. Nandito ako sa bansa nila, kailangan kong tanggapin kung ano meron sila. Sa totoo lang wala naman kakwenta-kwenta 'to eh. May mailagay lang dito para masaya!

Handwritten

This is a disclaimer:

When I was in my pre-school years, I have this book for a better handwriting, from bold letters to script. From time to time, I always practice by penmanship. From then on, I became the class secretary from grade school to college...actually not much in high school. Anyway, to make my story short, we Filipinos are trained to have a good penmanship. It may not be a very good one but it can be understood. Why I'm telling this.... I work in a data center in a bank which works on more on check processing. So I see all those captured images of a check and make sure all the details are correct. But the hardest thing was you can't understand the handwriting, the 6 can be a 4 or 0. You have to read the amount in words instead the figures will do. I will know if I got the wrong number if my batches are not balance. Then how they spell the words... i saw this one instead of "forty", its "fourty". And they don't use the thousand, its a hundred, like for "$1,600" its sixteen hundred. Anyway, im not criticizing or insulting anyone.. i just want to express my thoughts here.

High School Life

I just got this from my friendster....

Its already been a decade.. wow ang bilis ng panahon. I remembered my 1st day in my freshmen year. Totally lost ako kase new comer ako. Sympre behave ako during my 1st year, tapos ayan na join na ko sa barkada. I had a lot of memories during those high school years especially in my senior days. Anjan ung retreat for 3 days out of town (Nasugbu, Batangas). Iyakan blues, tawanan, kulitan... masaya pa kase all of us were all in the same room. So wala kmeng room mate, buong class nsa iisang room. Nakakatawa nga kase ung class president namen, gabi na non, tama ba naman ung magreview sya for her entrance exam in UP with matching flashlight... hello naman! tawa nga kme ng tawa non eh. sympre di mawawala ung takutan.

We had also the ACP (Air Cadet of the Philippines) (?) di ako sure kung yan nga ung meaning non... basta this is the same with the CAT. Anjan ung nag-overnight kme sa school, camping kuno, mabilad sa araw, pero masaya...

Ang intrams and St. Paul's day.. pinakamasayang event sa school. Free from schoolwork, just fun fun fun!!!

Too bad, I can't attend to this event.

A career woman now...

First of all, finally I already received my state ID. State ID muna since I need to review for a driving test, and get a license permit.

Ok tama na ang extra.. Today is my 1st day of work. So sympre pag 1st day, anjan ung orientation and training. Anjan din ung introduction to the whole employees. Sympre kailangan imemorize ang mga names and faces especially the top management. I already met the Executive Officers except for the President because he's on leave. Maybe by tomorrow I'll get the chance to meet him. Anyway, they treat me for a lunch in Applebee's then came back for the afternoon session. Tomorrow til tuesday, I'll just make an observation in our department and accomplish those network usernames and stuffs.

So by the end of the month, I'll be receiving my 1st pay check... sweet!!!!

At sympre pa, eto ang kailangan basahin, isa-isip, isa-puso at namnamin ang nilalaman ng mahiwagang folder na ito... sayang tagalog na tagalog na, di ko nga lang alam tagalog ng folder...

wag mabahala... wala lang ako magawa nyan!!!

I said burn!!!!

Yes.. burn those unwanted fats! Its been 3 months since I neglected to do some exercise and gained 10 lbs. Hay... sarap kase kumain... especially in a buffet style resto... hehehe.. Malakas akong kumain kung servings ng Pinas ang basis, pero pag dito... ay huling-huli na ko. Thank God at di pa naman ako lumba-lumba, XS pa rin naman ang size ko for a blouse and size 4 for pants. And thanks to my skull shape face atleast di ganon obvious na tumaba ko, wag lang titignan ang puson kase ang sagwa... yuck!

So kanina, tlgang decided ako magwork-out khet for 30 minutes at hiningal talaga ko.. patay na! Treadmill and glide whatever lang ang ginawa ko here sa recreation room in our apartment.

Extra: I got a call from a bank I'll be working for and I'll be starting to work tomorrow! Yipee!!! They'll be taking me to Applebee's for lunch.. wow!

The Xshot, etc.

I just found out this new gadget, the Xshot from Annes' blog. This is great for a couple or friends who likes to go anywhere and a perfect memories because everybody is in the pictures. Just like me, gusto ko lagi akong nasa picture... hehehe... I think reasonable naman ung price nya.. pucha naman padami na ng padami ung wishlist ko. I forgot to add na I want din pala a digital camera, for professionals ha. Nainspired ako, because one of our friends here has it and he's making some money out of it by taking pictures of some events. He's good enough to lend me his cam, medyo may kabigatan lang.. hehehe.. pero hanep naman pro na pro ang dating ko...

but for now, laptop muna kase nag-uunahan na kme ni Nikky sa pc pag weekends... hehehe.

what now...

I called up the company I want to work for and they've decided to hire another candidate. So now I have already cleared my mind to take the job offered by the 2nd company as a Systems Operator. Everything happens for a reason and this job was meant for me. Anyway, I have nothing to blog about. As usual, Im just here in front of the tube, searching for nothing. By the way, I registered in a paid survey thing. Wala lang, I just wanna try if it works. A $1 for every survey you take. Lets see what will happen. I was really hesitant to join in any online job, coz one of my friend told me that her friend gets a virus after she joined and can't retrieve all her files... yikes! I'd tried the payperpost in blogger but I can't think of any which to post.

hhhmm.. i was watching home alone 2 and I wondered what i want for Christmas/birthday and its 5 months to go.. yikes! Hayyy.. how time flies so fast. My wish list???

Actually this one is for my hubby.... hehehe..

Gotcha!!!!

I got the job!!!! Actually, I have no idea bat ako nagpunta don kanina... all I know was, meron lang ipepresent saken... yun pala they're offering me the job as a Systems Operator. Medyo complicated lang ung duties and responsibilities thou I have a little background don sa system nila since yun ung gamit namen sa Pinas. Before I was a front liner, this time back room ang beauty ko. The only problem is, this is a part-time job and the schedules, kase i have to leave the office around 10:30pm at hello ako lang ang mag-isa don, in short security guard ako, pero 2 days lang naman! Ok rin naman yung benefits wala nga lang medical and dental insurance, but Nikky will enroll me don sa insurance nya as one of his beneficiary. The salary is fine, actually malaki na nga daw yun since its only a part-time and meron naman daw kase akong banking experience, so malaking factors na rin yun.

Well, pakipot pa ko kaya di ko muna sign yung contract and she's ok with that. I'm waiting for another job this week and yun talaga its a big company, kumbaga all over the united states and its a full-time job... hhhmm tawagan ko nga bukas to follow-up.

I always tell myself na, this is only the beginning. In time they will open an opportunity for a full-time job. After 6 months they will evaluate me and increase my salary.... yipee!!!

Pinoy Big Brother 2

I am a fanatic of reality shows. Even here in the states, talagang inaabangan ko ung mga shows na yan... mas worst pa nga compared sa mga shows sa Pinas. Kanina, I chatted with my barkada from Pinas and I asked her to update me what's the latest news. She mentioned me about the Pinoy Big Brother Season 2. Im aware of the controversies in and out of the house, pero di ko alam na sobrang galit sila kay Wendy (placed 3rd runner-up). Sobrang controversial sya nung pinabalik sya ng house. Actually, I don't get the point na, pinalabas ng bahay tapos pinapasok ulit. I'm not familiar with the house rules and so but di ba once you already evicted, totally evicted! There are emails about her and the reasons why she came back. The last time I watched her, she's ok naman.. (i guess 2 weeks pa lang na-aair ung PBB non.. kya ganon). Thanks to youtube, now I know why people hate her. She didn't deserve to be part of Big 4. Actually di naman talaga eh, matagal na syang natanggal.. just so happened na pinabalik sya...i don't know how.

And how she manipulates Bruce.. na isa pa ring ewan. Imagine, in national television he dumped his girlfriend (that's according to my friend... i can't search it in youtube) Anyway,what is he trying to point it out? Hindi na ba nya naisip na minsan nyang minahal ung ex nya, na alam nyang masasaktan sa ginagawa nilang kalandian ni Wendy, e lalo pa nyang dinegrade kase nakipag-break sya na the whole country is watching. Too bad di naisip ni Bruce yun kase he's world revolves with Wendy.

Actually mas gusto ko manalo si Mikey, khet laking abroad wala syang yabang. And he's been good to everybody... yun lang...

4th of july

Yesterday was a legal holiday here and it's my hubby's birthday. We just had a small party with his friends. We had a great time with the magic sing. Sympre papatalo ba ang lola nyo, may I sing din ako no! hehehe... We watched transformers after. The movie was totally awesome! As in everything was really really perfect! One of my hubby's friend gave him the optimus prime, he also got the mini classic one. One of the characters said that they should give high respect to the japanese for inventing this blah blah blah. I must say its true. Americans can create that kind movie but the plot, the characters, those animes leave it to the japanese. E khet nga ung mga horror movies like the ring, the grudge, the phone at kung ano-ano pang "the", mas nakakatakot compared to the american version. Anyways, after the movie we headed to the park for the fireworks show, and first time ko maexperience ung traffic pero di naman terrible since may mga traffic enforcer and slow moving naman. A very tiring day!

Kanina, I had my 2nd interview as a systems operator.. again i have to wait next week for the decisions.

House on the rock

We went to House on the Rock in Wisconsin yesterday, almost 4 hours drive from our place. We got the whole package tour and took us almost 2 hours of sightseeing, taking pictures etc. It was fun and enjoy. Mostly the items displayed was from the ancient times of different cultures, different collections.
