what matters

What Matters
CTALK By Cito Beltran
The Philippine Star 02/09/2007

Having opted to live a less stressful lifestyle away from the limelight or
the Rat Race, it's but normal for people who made the choice, to sometimes
wonder if they did the right thing.

They experience pangs of guilt about being under employed, less productive
and certainly reduced in their income potential. While everyone else is
BUSY making a LIVING, you ask yourself if it's a mature thing to be at home
or semi-retired at the farm.

Are you wasting all your God-given talents raising kids, growing your own
food, or simply living on very little money and simple needs? Shouldn't you
be involved in today's politics, today's technology? And are your friends
right about saying "Sayang Ka"?

Last month, a friend called me about an opening in a major corporation that
was paying P300,000 a month, all the perks, and even a brand new Volvo. My
friend asked me how I would react if the job was offered to me since I was
very qualified.

It took me all of 5 seconds to tell her I wouldn't accept it.

To begin with P100,000 would certainly end up with the government as taxes.
That would leave me with only P200,000.

To earn that, I would have to be at work by eight everyday, instead of
coming up with imaginative tricks to wake up my daughter like placing her
puppy in her bed, or simply standing over her watching this angelic child
in her field of dreams.

I would have to eat breakfast by six, leave the house by 6:30. That means
no more breakfast conversations with my wife and certainly an end to our
morning prayers not just for us but for family and friends.

From the P200,000, I would have to spend at least P20,000 a month or 10% of
net to pay for gasoline driving the brand new Volvo to office everyday.

So in effect, I would only be earning P180,000 or even less. Not to mention
that my friends who sell Mercedes Benzes, Jaguars, etc. would brand me as a
traitor.

From the net salary of +/- P180,000, I would have to give up the lunch I
have with my wife 3 to 4 times a week at home.

Instead my power of choice adds another burden where I would have to decide
daily where in the business district I ought to have lunch, merienda if
needed, and from time to time even dinner. I would have to choose from a
menu instead of whipping up something in my kitchen.

When you add up the bill, plus service charge, plus VAT you can easily
average another P20,000 in expenses. Which means, that what we originally
thought would be a net income of P200,000 has now gone down to P160,000.

In the absence of maintenance you can enter about P10,000 as your average
monthly repair bill for labor and materials. So now, you discover you're
only earning P150,000 a month.

Instead of being in a HOME I own, I will have to try to be "at home" in an
office where I will be spending more of my "awake time". This finally
solves the puzzle; why do we always fill our offices with personal stuff
which we will have to take home in a box when we retire, resign or get
fired?

From having my independence and personal views, I would then have a real
live flesh and bones Boss (because of what I thought was P200,000 a month
salary) can tell me how to jump! Someone who's seniority or proprietary
rights automatically makes him right even if he's stupid.

Because you now have to spend most of the time at the office or behind a
desk, you can't do your regular walk in the park or jog around the village
which is also your bonding time with your spouse, your kids, or your dogs.
You either join a gym or get a personal trainer.

When you total fees, travel, and outfits, your monthly fitness bill would
be around P5,000 which means your net pay just went down to P145,000 a
month or less than half the original offered salary.

My dear wife reminds me to include clothing and image-related expenditures
specially for women. The clothes, the make-up, the jewelry, as well as the
business accessories such as the laptop loaded with Vistas program, the
latest cell phones, iPod etc.

Even if you paid all of that on installment for 24 months, it would be in
the area of P20,000 a month which further reduces your income to P125,000 a
month.

The problem with this major part of the expense is many people mistakenly
call them necessary investments, professional expense, but don't see them
as deductions from PERSONAL wealth.

It would also mean, not sharing the responsibility of taking our child to
school, missing out on small talk that tell you big things in children's
minds, and dropping out on all the parent-child activities.

I would also nullify all the adjustments we made in the last 5 years where
we integrated home life with work in order to be more of a family than
employees with a family.

Speaking of home life, anyone who spends a lot of time at work can testify
that in your absence you will have to hire a full crew to do all the
maintenance and repair you use to prevent or do yourself when you spend
time at home.

In your absence, who's going to fix leaking roofs, flooded toilets, busted
aircons, creaking doors, or all the usual things REAL MEN with real tools
do?

If I actually went out to get the job that pays P300,000 plus a brand new
Volvo, it would have cost me breakfasts with my wife, trips to school with
my daughter, morning talks and prayers with God, affirmation of my role as
husband, father. I would be relinquishing responsibility for my house, as
well as my home.

What we've done is determine what really matters, what and how much we
really need, give up what we don't need or care for and trust in God and
not in men.

This is what I call real life cost-benefit analysis. To make an accounting
of what we think we're getting against what we know we're losing. Sometimes
earning more actually costs more.

This guy is inlove with you pare...

Today, very much accepted na ung homosexual relationship. Pero may times na nakaka-shock pa rin when we see them holding hands, cuddling each other etc.

After I watched this video, I admired the macho guy for unveiling his relationship with badingersi in national TV pa ha.

Whew.. its not yet over with this Malu(wag)Fernandez controversy. Because of the power of the internet, everybody read her article. And for her so called "freedom of expression", everybody was totally outrage. The website, where I found this, got 1000+ comments. Grabe! Its so funny reading those brutal opinions.

I just found out na pinalabas sa news (TV Patrol) etong controversial na babaeng 'to. The network wants her side but she declined to be interview, instead she wrote a public apology and resigned in Manila Standard and People Asia. Hmmm... she resigned or she was fired???

A day of thunderstorm

Posted by WELLA at Tuesday, August 21, 2007 0 comments
Its a 24 hours of thunderstorm last saturday. Our apartment got flooded. Well lucky for us because the wet area was just near the aircon, but the rest of the unit from ground floor was totally wet. They had to move their things because the whole carpet needs to pull out and replace a new one.

This pictures c/o Sherwin.. thanks man!

Free carpets!!!

Xtra: Finally I passed the exam in driving. Sus ok na naman pla not to get an instruction permit since I have a valid driver's license in Pinas. They will still acknowledge a valid international license for 1 year. So pwede na ko magdrive on my own. Pero i still need a road test to acquire a Minnesota driver's license.

I'm in the mood to change my blog layout, but when I searched to look for some inspiration/theme, I can't find any. :) I forgot where i found this template... baka sakaling merong bago. Since I couldn't find any, tinamad na ko. Umalis na lang kme ng hubby ko, ate our lunch in a buffet resto and watched the Rush Hour 3.

Mas lalo pang nakakatamad kase may thunderstorm dito. I don't know if it will last 'til next week.

X's: Thanks to Irel for the code.. atleast khet papano may nagawa ako sa blog ko.. ;)

The Lady "B" - part 2

Posted by WELLA at Thursday, August 16, 2007 4 comments
I thought Im over with this issue... when I posted this in my multiply account, my friends can't control their reactions. here are some :

"what she wrote was appalling...akala mo naman kung sinong sobrang yaman at ganda! hmp!

the things about the mosquitoes and OFWs may be true BUT STILL, she shouldn't have written those things, given na nga eh, bakit kailangan pang i-emphasize? as if naman napakasamang bagay na ang magkaroon ng mosquitoes or maging maingay sa eroplano ng mga kapwa pilipino. as in, masama ba yun???? dapat sa ganyang mga klase ng tao hindi na pinababalik ng pilipinas eh. " - IVY

"I dont think theres nothing wrong with that blog or what not..We have to remember she wrote what she feels and thats it..We must not forget that we are all guilty of discriminating every now and then..
example: "Oh man I went to the party last night and everybody seems like to shop at WalMart."
theres nothing wrong with shopping at WalMart but for just telling a story it made it look bad.
bottom line is We dont have to agree to Miss Piggie over there on what she tells on her story.She forgot to mention that her broke ass vacation story is LAME! hehehe" - SHERWIN

- YEN

"I think she's very arrogant and "stuck up". She's just trying to big note herself. It is OK to tell about your holiday experiences but you should not criticise or judge others so quickly in the process. I have been on flights with plenty of OFWs and here in Brunei there are daming Filipinos. To me, the OFWs are heroes. (I am biased, my wife is from Narra and soon we'll celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.) Cheers" - JIM

"hahaha ... yun lang kaya niya gawin... kaya ayaw niya ng beach kasi mataba siya... too fat to wear skinny bathing suits. Ano ba ginawa niya sa Greece? Sight-seeing lang naman ginawa niya dun. Based on the photos balot na balot siya. People like her is what I call "mga biglang yaman". Real rich people are so humble and down to earth. Walang kwenta ang LV at Jo Malone niya kung ang ugali niya eh kasing baho ng ebs ng baboy. ewwwwwwww!" - ANN

"who's this Big girl pretending to be someone na sya lang ang may pera sa earth... dapat ipadala yan sa Basilan kasi ikinahihiya nya ang mga kapwa nya.... hmph!" - LETLET

- MAE

The Lady "B"

Posted by WELLA at Tuesday, August 14, 2007 4 comments
I read this from my multiply buddy. Anyway, nung nabasa ko na ung reason behind that anger, aba na high-blood ako... walang reason para di magwalang imik... para makarelate kyo.. here's the article (click the image for larger view)

Now, sino ang di maiinis sa kanya??? I know na there are times nakakainis ung ibang Pinoy. Pero sa kwento nya, I don't see anything wrong na magkamustahan or kung ano ung pabango na gamit ng mga OFW. Pakialam ba nya...

And between the 2 places, mas nag-enjoy sya sa Greece.

Now what's with the "B"... hhhhmmm Baboy, Balyena, Bitch, Beast ... hehehe...

~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
By the way, I applied for an instruction permit for driving this morning.. too bad I failed. So try ulit ako next week or by Thursday to get another one. Its free naman eh.. kaya ok lang... hehehe.
When they get old....
Posted by WELLA at Saturday, August 11, 2007 1 comments
I read this from my friendster's bulletin. As I was reading this, it made me sad. I remember my parents, how I miss and value them so much. This is very touching.
Sa aking pagtanda, unawain mo sana ako
at pagpasensiyahan. Kapag dala ng
kalabuan ng mata ay nakabasag ako ng
pinggan o nakatapon ng sabaw sa hapag
kainan, huwag mo sana akong
kagagalitan.
Maramdamin ang isang matanda.
Nagse-self-pity ako sa tuwing
sisigawan mo ako.
Kapag mahina na ang tenga ko at hindi
ko
maintindihan
ang sinasabi mo, huwag mo naman sana
akong sabihan ng
"binge!" paki-ulit na lang ang sinabi
mo
o pakisulat
na lang. Pasensya ka na, anak. Matanda
na talaga ako.
Kapag mahina na tuhod ko, pagtiyagaan
mo
sana akong
tulungang tumayo, katulad ng pag-
aalalay
ko sa iyo
noong nag-aaral ka pa lamang lumakad.
Pagpasensyahan mo sana ako kung ako man
ay nagiging
makulit at paulit ulit na parang sirang
plaka. Basta
pakinggan mo na lang ako. Huwag mo sana
akong
pagtatawanan o pagsasawaang pakinggan.
Natatandaan mo
anak noong bata ka pa? kapag gusto mo
ng
lobo, paulit-ulit mo 'yong sasabihin,
maghapon kang
mangungulit hangga't hindi mo nakukuha
ang gusto mo.
Pinagtiyagaan ko ang kakulitan mo.
Pagpasensyahan mo na rin sana ang aking
amoy. Amoy
matanda, amoy lupa. Huwag mo sana akong
piliting
maligo. Mahina na ang katawan ko.
Madaling magkasakit
kapag nalamigan, huwag mo sana akong
pandirihan.
Natatandaan mo noong bata ka pa?
pinagtiyagaan kitang
habulin sa ilalim ng kama kapag ayaw
mong maligo.
Pagpasensyahan mo sana kung madalas,
ako'y masungit,
dala na marahil ito ng katandaan.
Pagtanda mo,
maiintindihan mo rin.
Kapag may konti kang panahon,
magkwentuhan naman tayo,
kahit sandali lang. Inip na ako sa
bahay, maghapong
nag-iisa. Walang kausap. Alam kong busy
ka sa trabaho,
subalit nais kong malaman mo na sabik
na
sabik na
akong makakwentuhan ka, kahit alam kong
hindi ka
interesado sa mga kwento ko.
Natatandaan
mo anak,
noong bata ka pa? Pinagtiyagaan kong
pakinggan at
intindihin ang pautal-utal mong kwento
tungkol sa
iyong teddy bear.
At kapag dumating ang sandali na ako'y
magkakasakit at
maratay sa banig ng karamdaman, huwag
mo
sana akong
pagsawaan alagaan. Pagpasensyahan mo na
sana kung ako
man ay maihi o madumi sa higaan,
pagtiyagaan mo sana
akong alagaan sa mga huling sandali ng
aking buhay.
Tutal hindi na naman ako magtatagal.
Kapag dumating ang sandali ng aking
pagpanaw, hawakan
mo sana ang aking kamay at bigyan mo
ako
ng lakas ng
loob na harapin ang kamatayan.
At huwag kang mag-alala, kapag kaharap
ko na ang Diyos
na lumikha, ibubulong ko sa kanya na
pagapalain ka
sana ... dahil naging mapagmahal ka sa
iyong ama't
ina.....................
Repost it.. para naman malaman ng iba
nating friends na mahirap maging
magulang..
I love spam.. the luncheon meat not the emails in my inbox. Im so irritated with that. It consumes a lot of space in my inbox. Some are free products to offer like laptop, gift certificates, cell phones, even a free airline tickets and vacation. Sometimes, Im tempted to try this things, but Im worried for any catch if ever. I don't know if its legal or not. The rest are from with sender's name, with attachments and some mails content are like they need sponsor or representative to withdraw their trust fund from this bank with this millions of amount. What kind of scam is that? It doesn't make any sense.
They experience pangs of guilt about being under employed, less productive
Are you wasting all your God-given talents raising kids, growing your own
Volvo, it would have cost me breakfasts with my wife, trips to school with
my daughter, morning talks and prayers with God, affirmation of my role as
husband, father. I would be relinquishing responsibility for my house, as
well as my home.
What we've done is determine what really matters, what and how much we
really need, give up what we don't need or care for and trust in God and
not in men.
This is what I call real life cost-benefit analysis. To make an accounting
of what we think we're getting against what we know we're losing. Sometimes
earning more actually costs more.
This guy is inlove with you pare...
Today, very much accepted na ung homosexual relationship. Pero may times na nakaka-shock pa rin when we see them holding hands, cuddling each other etc. Sometimes, we think na pineperahan lang ni macho guy ung jowa nyang badingersi. Nagiging judgemental tyo na di naman dapat kase di naman tyo involved sa relationship nila. Bakit ba tyo judgemental? Concern ba tyo kay badingersi na baka ubusin ung pera nya or talagang initial impression na tlga nten pag nakakakita ng ganon.
After I watched this video, I admired the macho guy for unveiling his relationship with badingersi in national TV pa ha. Hindi lahat kayang umamin na may syoting silang baklush. Siguro un lang ung mga hindi sincere... siguro lang ha.. basta watch this na lang.
The Lady "B" updated
Whew.. its not yet over with this Malu(wag)Fernandez controversy. Because of the power of the internet, everybody read her article. And for her so called "freedom of expression", everybody was totally outrage. The website, where I found this, got 1000+ comments. Grabe! Its so funny reading those brutal opinions. E kase naman khet nanggagalaiti na sila, may sense of humor pa din.
I just found out na pinalabas sa news (TV Patrol) etong controversial na babaeng 'to. Aba dapat lang na ibroadcast ung ginawa nya para di tularan ng iba. The network wants her side but she declined to be interview, instead she wrote a public apology and resigned in Manila Standard and People Asia. Hmmm... she resigned or she was fired???
A day of thunderstorm
Its a 24 hours of thunderstorm last saturday. Our apartment got flooded. Well lucky for us because the wet area was just near the aircon, but the rest of the unit from ground floor was totally wet. They had to move their things because the whole carpet needs to pull out and replace a new one. Sanay ako sa baha.. pero di ako sanay na binabaha.. gets?
This pictures c/o Sherwin.. thanks man!
Wala ng problem sa tubig pag mag-ccr...
Hindi po yan swimming pool na may slide.. playground po yan.. fyi
From my camera, eto po ang hitsura ng apartment namen
Free carpets!!!
Xtra: Finally I passed the exam in driving. Sus ok na naman pla not to get an instruction permit since I have a valid driver's license in Pinas. They will still acknowledge a valid international license for 1 year. So pwede na ko magdrive on my own. Pero i still need a road test to acquire a Minnesota driver's license.
New layout...
I'm in the mood to change my blog layout, but when I searched to look for some inspiration/theme, I can't find any. Oh well, ok na naman ung layout ng blog ko, nag-iinarte lang ako. :) I forgot where i found this template... baka sakaling merong bago. Since I couldn't find any, tinamad na ko. Umalis na lang kme ng hubby ko, ate our lunch in a buffet resto and watched the Rush Hour 3. Nasa labas na rin lang naman kme eh namili na rin ng kung anong anek-anek sa bahay, bukas na ung for myself... hehehe.
Mas lalo pang nakakatamad kase may thunderstorm dito. I don't know if it will last 'til next week. Sa ngyon, ang masarap gawin eh... humilata at kumain. Hintayin ang bukas at mamasyal na naman... hehehe...
X's: Thanks to Irel for the code.. atleast khet papano may nagawa ako sa blog ko.. ;)
The Lady "B" - part 2
I thought Im over with this issue... when I posted this in my multiply account, my friends can't control their reactions. here are some :
"what she wrote was appalling...akala mo naman kung sinong sobrang yaman at ganda! hmp!
the things about the mosquitoes and OFWs may be true BUT STILL, she shouldn't have written those things, given na nga eh, bakit kailangan pang i-emphasize? as if naman napakasamang bagay na ang magkaroon ng mosquitoes or maging maingay sa eroplano ng mga kapwa pilipino. as in, masama ba yun???? dapat sa ganyang mga klase ng tao hindi na pinababalik ng pilipinas eh. " - IVY
"I dont think theres nothing wrong with that blog or what not..We have to remember she wrote what she feels and thats it..We must not forget that we are all guilty of discriminating every now and then..
example: "Oh man I went to the party last night and everybody seems like to shop at WalMart."
theres nothing wrong with shopping at WalMart but for just telling a story it made it look bad.
bottom line is We dont have to agree to Miss Piggie over there on what she tells on her story.She forgot to mention that her broke ass vacation story is LAME! hehehe" - SHERWIN
"binasa ko nga dn yan nung pinost ni pobs... pasalamat yang baboy n yan di ko siya nakasabay sa eroplano ng panahon n yan although malabong naka emirates ako dahil may stopover. pro anyways, wg lang mag krus ang landas nmin dhil lalaitin ko dn siya mula ulo hanggang paa.. helooo bgo kya sya mag inarte at kesa pinangbi2li nia ng LV bag ung pera nia, magpa LIPO kaya sya noh! mayaman pla sya eh, pagandahin nia muna sarile nia. masyado ng masikip ang mundo pra sa obese na kagaya nia. wahahahah." - YEN
"I think she's very arrogant and "stuck up". She's just trying to big note herself. It is OK to tell about your holiday experiences but you should not criticise or judge others so quickly in the process. I have been on flights with plenty of OFWs and here in Brunei there are daming Filipinos. To me, the OFWs are heroes. (I am biased, my wife is from Narra and soon we'll celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.) Cheers" - JIM
"hahaha ... yun lang kaya niya gawin... kaya ayaw niya ng beach kasi mataba siya... too fat to wear skinny bathing suits. Ano ba ginawa niya sa Greece? Sight-seeing lang naman ginawa niya dun. Based on the photos balot na balot siya. People like her is what I call "mga biglang yaman". Real rich people are so humble and down to earth. Walang kwenta ang LV at Jo Malone niya kung ang ugali niya eh kasing baho ng ebs ng baboy. ewwwwwwww!" - ANN
"who's this Big girl pretending to be someone na sya lang ang may pera sa earth... dapat ipadala yan sa Basilan kasi ikinahihiya nya ang mga kapwa nya.... hmph!" - LETLET
"honga pala im currently reading(again) "bakit baliktad magbasa ng libro ang mga Pilipino"... medyo related to what that "im-more-of-a-pig-than-a-filipino" said. may mga pilipino na sobrang k*pal at kinakahiya ang pinas.
but for me, the best pa rin sa pinas kase may balot, ube ice cream, lechon and we eat strange bit of animals- "adidas"(chicken's feet), "helmet"(chicken head), "kurbata"(neck and thigh=necktie), "betamax" (video-cassette-like blocks of animal blood), "PAL" (chicken wings) etc... at yung mga jeep.... na lahat na ng pangalan ng angkan mo eh nakasulat na sa kisame... at sobrang hospitable naten kase kahit na wala na tayong makain at kulang pa satin ang pagkain eh nag-aalok pa rin tayo sa kung sino mang kakilala ang makikita natin. (huy kain tayo!---kumain ka na ba? kain ka muna!)
at para dyan kay "im-more-of-a-pig-than-a-filipino", malamang mas mabuti kung naging lechon ka nalang. dahil makapal ang balat mo." - MAE
The Lady "B"
I read this from my multiply buddy. Sa post nya sobrang nang-gagalaiti sya sa inis. So binasa ko ung link kung bket sya bwisit na bwisit. Tutal nasa mood naman ako na ok lang mabwisit... hehhee. Anyway, nung nabasa ko na ung reason behind that anger, aba na high-blood ako... walang reason para di magwalang imik... para makarelate kyo.. here's the article (click the image for larger view)
Now, sino ang di maiinis sa kanya??? I know na there are times nakakainis ung ibang Pinoy. Pero sa kwento nya, I don't see anything wrong na magkamustahan or kung ano ung pabango na gamit ng mga OFW. Pakialam ba nya... Masyado bang syang nadisturb sa mga pangyayari. Siguro dati rin syang domestic helper at may malupit na karanasan sa amo nya kya gustong kalimutan ang lahat. Kaya pag nakakakita sya ng OFW, nabwibwisit sya.
And between the 2 places, mas nag-enjoy sya sa Greece. Imagine puro praises ung sinabi nya don sa place, pero in Boracay, una kagad nyang sinabi, daming mosquitoes.
Yan ang nagagawa ng mga ibang nagpupunta sa abroad. Kala mo kung sino, nakapunta lang ng ibang bansa... bket sya lang ba??? Kung tutuusin mas may pakinabang pa sa kanya ung mga OFW kesa sa kanya eh. At hello di lang sya ang nakaka-afford ng mga LV at Jo Malone na yan. Can afford din sila kaya lang mas uunahin muna nila ang pamilya nila kesa sa luho.
Now what's with the "B"... hhhhmmm Baboy, Balyena, Bitch, Beast ... hehehe...
~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

By the way, I applied for an instruction permit for driving this morning.. too bad I failed. So try ulit ako next week or by Thursday to get another one. Its free naman eh.. kaya ok lang... hehehe.

When they get old....

I read this from my friendster's bulletin. As I was reading this, it made me sad. I remember my parents, how I miss and value them so much. This is very touching.

Sa aking pagtanda, unawain mo sana ako
at pagpasensiyahan. Kapag dala ng
kalabuan ng mata ay nakabasag ako ng
pinggan o nakatapon ng sabaw sa hapag
kainan, huwag mo sana akong
kagagalitan.

maintindihan
ang sinasabi mo, huwag mo naman sana
akong sabihan ng
"binge!" paki-ulit na lang ang sinabi
mo
o pakisulat
na lang. Pasensya ka na, anak. Matanda
na talaga ako.

Kapag mahina na tuhod ko, pagtiyagaan
mo
sana akong
tulungang tumayo, katulad ng pag-
aalalay
ko sa iyo
noong nag-aaral ka pa lamang lumakad.

Pagpasensyahan mo sana ako kung ako man
ay nagiging
makulit at paulit ulit na parang sirang
plaka. Basta
pakinggan mo na lang ako. Huwag mo sana
akong
pagtatawanan o pagsasawaang pakinggan.
Natatandaan mo
anak noong bata ka pa? kapag gusto mo
ng
lobo, paulit-ulit mo 'yong sasabihin,
maghapon kang
mangungulit hangga't hindi mo nakukuha
ang gusto mo.
Pinagtiyagaan ko ang kakulitan mo.

Pagpasensyahan mo na rin sana ang aking
amoy. Amoy
matanda, amoy lupa. Huwag mo sana akong
piliting
maligo. Mahina na ang katawan ko.
Madaling magkasakit
kapag nalamigan, huwag mo sana akong
pandirihan.
Natatandaan mo noong bata ka pa?
pinagtiyagaan kitang
habulin sa ilalim ng kama kapag ayaw
mong maligo.

Pagpasensyahan mo sana kung madalas,
ako'y masungit,
dala na marahil ito ng katandaan.
Pagtanda mo,
maiintindihan mo rin.

Kapag may konti kang panahon,
magkwentuhan naman tayo,
kahit sandali lang. Inip na ako sa
bahay, maghapong
nag-iisa. Walang kausap. Alam kong busy
ka sa trabaho,
subalit nais kong malaman mo na sabik
na
sabik na
akong makakwentuhan ka, kahit alam kong
hindi ka
interesado sa mga kwento ko.
Natatandaan
mo anak,
noong bata ka pa? Pinagtiyagaan kong
pakinggan at
intindihin ang pautal-utal mong kwento
tungkol sa
iyong teddy bear.

At kapag dumating ang sandali na ako'y
magkakasakit at
maratay sa banig ng karamdaman, huwag
mo
sana akong
pagsawaan alagaan. Pagpasensyahan mo na
sana kung ako
man ay maihi o madumi sa higaan,
pagtiyagaan mo sana
akong alagaan sa mga huling sandali ng
aking buhay.
Tutal hindi na naman ako magtatagal.

Kapag dumating ang sandali ng aking
pagpanaw, hawakan
mo sana ang aking kamay at bigyan mo
ako
ng lakas ng
loob na harapin ang kamatayan.

At huwag kang mag-alala, kapag kaharap
ko na ang Diyos
na lumikha, ibubulong ko sa kanya na
pagapalain ka
sana ... dahil naging mapagmahal ka sa
iyong ama't
ina.....................

Repost it.. para naman malaman ng iba
nating friends na mahirap maging
magulang..

Spam

I love spam.. the luncheon meat not the emails in my inbox. Im so irritated with that. It consumes a lot of space in my inbox. Some are free products to offer like laptop, gift certificates, cell phones, even a free airline tickets and vacation. Sometimes, Im tempted to try this things, but Im worried for any catch if ever. I don't know if its legal or not. The rest are from with sender's name, with attachments and some mails content are like they need sponsor or representative to withdraw their trust fund from this bank with this millions of amount. What kind of scam is that? It doesn't make any sense.
